Volunteers Hub
At Moreton Bay College, our volunteers are an essential part of our vibrant community, bringing diverse skills, experiences, and a shared passion for education and student development. Whether you’re a parent, alumni, or community member, your contribution enriches the lives of our students and enhances the quality of our programmes. This page provides all the necessary information for prospective and current volunteers, including application processes, roles, responsibilities, and support resources. We invite you to explore the opportunities available and join us in making a positive impact on our College community.
What is a volunteer?
Interested in volunteering at one of our College events?
If you are a P&F member, community volunteer, student mentor, or parent helper, you are considered a volunteer. A volunteer is anyone who works without compensation under the direction and supervision of the school and/or an established agreement.
Volunteer Register
To ensure the safety of our students, all volunteers must complete the Volunteer Register once per calendar year. If you are a cross-college family; a single declaration is sufficient for both colleges within the year.
Completing this declaration early in the year is recommended to streamline your volunteering process and contribute to the safety of our students.
Note: If you are attending events such as Founders Day, Grandparents Day, or school assemblies, you are classified as a visitor and do not need to complete this declaration.
